Wind of change

Let me introduce myself. My name is Tuomas Erikoinen.

For my whole adult life I've been pretty boring. After the army I moved close to Helsinki to work in the game industry. Ever since that I've been a victim of routines. I've been using most of my time on the computer (at work and home) and I've never really done anything to break this mental method I've allowed myself to get swallowed in. The same goes for work; day by day I've advanced on my career by slowly learning from the routines I had at work.

Thankfully there's a slight wind of change at hand. I've now found my very own company with Antti Stén. Inspired of it I've also decided to make some changes in my personal life. I'm getting rid of my computer and both TVs at home and reorganizing everything - just to make myself adapt to a different situation. Maybe even a different life. Earlier my normal day would consist of coming home from work, eating and browsing the internet for the rest of the evening. From now on I guess I'll go outdoors, play the piano or join a dancing lesson. Who knows, but I'm thrilled!

I'm sure this will be very helpful for my mindset work-wise as well since from now on I need to come up with new ideas all the time. It'd be kind of boring if I just sat inside doing nothing.

This might not be the most formal introduction ever, but I feel that sharing personal information can be far more interesting than talking yet again about my history with Angry Birds. I have plenty of time to discuss that too.
